This is my water melon plant in our backyard. I started to collect seeds from water melon we bought from wallmart last June. Hubby was wondering why I put the water melon seeds on the napkin and let it dry instead of putting it in the garbage. After it dries, I sow it on the backyard the next morning and look at my water melon now? Isn't that amazing? I never thought it would grow in the soil here in Texas but it does huh... And there are more than 10 water melon fruit in the backyard now. But I don't think we can eat anything out from it since I planted it late season.
