Last Breakfast

This might be the last breakfast I had in the Philippines but it doesn't make it taste less... It was just like other breakfast I had there... so yummy and appetizing. The slice of scrambled egg together with the dried fish and rice makes it really a perfect breakfast. Filipino's scrambled egg is a mixture of eggs, slice tomato, onion, garlic, salt and pepper.

Great Lunch

I felt so boring this morning and don't know exactly on what to do. I sat down here in front of my Laptop and start looking at different pictures I have on my folder. Since the time I arrived here from my vacation in the Philippines, I wasn't able to transfer all the pictures save here in my laptop until this morning.

I don't know if I should be happy I
started it or not... but I am definitely craving for this great meal we had with my family when I was there in the Philippines. Humm so great to eat meals you like with the people you love and love the food as well...

Healthy Cooking

Hubby and I just recently received a George Foreman grill from his mom. We have been eying those kind of grill because it's been a long time since we grilled our food. It's really hard to live in an apartment because you are not allowed to grill on your porch. But with George Foreman grill, we can now enjoy healthy cooking by grilling the food we love.

Loving Crabs

I love eating crabs since I was a kid. I still remember how huge those crabs are in my grandma's province. I like the crabs there a lot better than any other crabs in the store here in our area because people sells it fresh from the ocean. Hum miss those times a lot... Hopefully will be able to do eat crabs again from my grandparents province where I was born.

But anyway, like most Filipino people are, swimming won't be great with out variety of foods. Losing Weight After Holiday

I do agree it's hard to ignore great foods in the table during holiday season especially if it's the kind of food that your family has been serving every Christmas, in short a "family tradition"... According to some studies and surveys, there are so many people who gain weight after holiday seasons... from Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas to New years day. Well don't worry guys because you can always take some weight loss pills to burn some fats of yours.

Lechon From Cabadbaran

Lechon is one of the most special dish that every household in our province make or prepares during special occasions such as birthday, wedding, fiesta, baptism, despedida and many more. When I went to the Philippines for a visit, my brother brought me some Lechon from my grandma's place. It was really sweet of him for bringing some Lechon for his youngest preggy sister lol... Oh gosh this makes me miss him and the whole family...

Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking is a great way of preserving different memories of your family's daily activities and other special occasions. I have learned to do scrapbooking myself when I was a kid and still fascinated with it up to now especially now that I am about to have a baby. I will make sure to capture every single moment I have with my baby and make a scrapbook out of it yearly or monthly...

Chowking Halo-Halo

If you asked most Filipino people who eat in Chowking, their meals won't be complete without ordering a Halo-Halo for dessert. When my mama, sister, my best friend together with her boyfriend went to Mall of Asia, we decided to dine at Chowking and of course ordered Halo-Halo for dessert. We all thought we can still eat after ordering some sinigang na bangus, roasted chicken, pancit and chopsuey but after eating our main dish, we can't hardly eat our Halo-Halo because we were already so full. In fact I just eat the top of it as I didn't mixed them all together...my tummy have no more space for the ice hekhekhe...

Suman At Mangga

My mother went out to process something for my brother. And when she got home, she brings me some Suman and Jollibee. Of course I was really happy to have it since it was my first time to eat suman since I arrived here in the Philippines. But anyway, this suman taste really good especially if you eat with ripe mango.

Hoping For The Best... Preparing For The Worst...

Every driver who owns a car should have a car insurance. It might be a little expensive especially now that almost all American people are experiencing hard times due to our economic problem but tell you what? Getting a car insurance is really worth paying as it can help you in times of accident. The money that you will spend in car insurance is nothing compare to what you are going to pay on medical bills and car repairs. It's better to prepare for the worst things and hope for the better.
