Home Theater Furniture

The idea of having a Family room which will be a Home Theater at the same time is really great. The whole family member can watch movies together, which is one of the best easy and cheap ways of bonding together as a family. Family Video

We were used to rent movie in Blockbuster but now that we moved here in the apartment, we are closer to Family Video which is just located right beside the apartment. I like it right now because they are giving us a 50% Off discount valid only up to 30 days from the day we signed up. But 50% Off is a lot of savings, imagine renting their 2 movies for $1 and since we are 50% Off, that knocks out 50cents in every two movies for 5nights. I like it a lot that's why we rented again last night. It's also nice because movies for kids are FREE...

The 27 Dresses

Hubby and I went to the movie store in front of our new place to return the video we rented few days ago. As we were inside, we also decided to check out New Release DVD. I picked one for myself tittled "27 Dresses" of Katherine Heigl and James Marsden. It was so late already when we got home as we headed to hubby's house to mow the yard. As we got home, I headed to my lappy right away to check some opps and only find out my sister is online waiting for me. We talk and totally forgotten the movie we rented. But after talking to sis about 12 midnight, hubby said he wants some grapefruit before going to bed so as he was eating, I turn on the movie and watch few part of it before we went to bed.

The next morning, I mean this morning, I continue watching the movie and oh gosh it was cute. There were few lines that was really touching. Humm don't know why but I was in tears too huhuhu... just a little though ('_') wink!

Getting Hotter Everyday

Yes it is getting hotter everyday. It was like 104 degree at noon time and as of now, at 5:27pm it is still above hundred degrees. My goodness I can't imagine going out at this kind of weather. Hot hot hot! Good lord what's happening to the earth na. Global warming na talaga!

Speaking of being hot, there's a fire somewhere in Irving Texas where fireman were having hard time to kill the fire as the weather was burning hot already. According to the news, the area in Irving where there was a fire was like 113 degrees. Oh my gosh!

There was also wild fire in California that the health department have told or advised the people in the area to stay indoor because the smoke and air is health hazard which probably take few days to clear up.

Horrible Thunderstorm

We were watching TV show “You Think You Can Dance” when it starts to rain. I thought it was just a simple rain but few minutes later, I start to hear horrible thunderstorm that sounds worst than almost losing your voice or when you have cough and colds. But anyway, few minutes later when the thunder didn’t stop and just continuously thunders mixed with lightning, I decided to unhook or unplug my laptop. This is what I like about having a laptop, as long as you have your battery full charge, you will still be able to use it at least until the weather calms down.

This picture was taken during the carnival in one of hubbies nephew's school. The school carnival was intended to raise money for the school projects. Hubby said that every school here in the US does Carnival thing as fund raising. They organized different fun games like pie throws and other kids games...

What's the next thing most people do before and after eating in the party? What else but taking tons of pictures... Yap that's what we exactly did yesterday. It was mommy Anne's birthday so we get together in ate Rose house. We cook different food like there was fiesta or something… to think it was only the three of us who ate all those foods. We pig out so much as if we haven’t eaten for decade… funny but it was so good that we can’t just stop eating a lot. Thanks to Ate Rose who always plan ahead for every special occasions...

What A Mess...

This is the first time I have moved to an apartment for my whole life. We had bought so many stuff for the apartment and had hired movers to move some big stuff. But did they really helped? My gosh there was so many things happened and a lot of mess happened. Our TV got some bent, they haven't hooked up our dryer and washing machine good. Grrrr so many mess happened. The legs of our table are even broke and have been replaced by "Haverty" few days ago. And look at the picture? Our new bed is messed up too. But good thing about Haverty? They always replaced it.

Custom Closet

It's been almost a week now since the time we've moved here in the apartment. I would say, I don't like moving at all and I would never wish to move again unless it would be on the house where we hubby and I live forever. Moving is crazy and it's really a headache for there are so many things you need to unpack and arrange. The only thing that I like in this move is the fact that my husband and I will be able to start new things together. I had been so busy since the first day...arranging and figure out where I like to put things. It was really frustrating because I don't like mess and I always want things in place but seeing stuff all over our new place gives me headache. There were just so many things that's needed to be done but you just don't know where to start because things are everywhere. We even need to clean and spray every cabinet...etc etc...

And today, our custom closet is finally done and I am almost done putting up all our clothes. So hopefully this week will be my last day of cleaning and arranging because I want to go back to my work online for I wasn't earning good this month and there's only few days left before the month of June ended.

Twice Is Enough

Like I said to my post in Fil-Am Gallery, I went down to the office to fax some important documents. But to my dismay, the office was close the first time I got there and says "Will return at 2:15pm. I can't wait that long waiting on the living area in that place alone. I just don't feel staying alone in a place where there are valuable things around because I am scared if somebody will took anything or something and I am the person who's there at the moment when they find out something is missing...

What is Common Sense ?

To give a proper definition of "Common Sense", let's ask Mr. Dictionary.com. Noun: sound practical judgment that is independent of specialized knowledge, training, or the like; normal native intelligence.

I know most people have Common Sense but for some reason, there are people who choose not to use it. It is common knowledge why but let's tackle a little bit about it. What are the possible reasons on why some people do things that they are not supposed to do despite of the fact that they are well aware of things surround them...

One of the reason is Money. There are only few people who don’t change when they smell money. Just like my Mama, before my grandmother died and even before she got sick, Grandma had been calling on the phone and told my Mother to come home and stay with her and she will give her everything. Before my grandma died, while she was already bed ridden, every single day, she will tell my mother she want to get up and go to a lawyer so she can sign a paper to make sure my mother will get the house. But despite of all grandma’s will, my mother refuses to take anything because as she said “She have siblings and she don’t want them to curse (us) her own kids just because of Money. My mother never care if she remain as poor as she is now just to have a peace of mind.

Other common reasons why most people tend to ignore “Common Sense” that they have is Jealousy, Anger and Rage...

Hubby don't want to spend more money on it and just put the house in the market below "Market Value" so that buyers would just be the one to fix those which I don't think a good idea but this is his house and his decision matters even though he doesn't have any profit on this house once he sold it on his asking price... but if it's my house? I would fix everything that I can to make profit out of it.

Time To Take Off...

It's already one o'clock in the morning and I am still tapping my keyboard because there are opportunities that can no longer wait for tomorrow as it is about to expire soon. I love getting opportunities as it means more "Money" in my pocket. But there are also times that I really feel I am about to retire this way of earning money as it requires too much time especially when it is 200 to 300 words. Huh! But despite of all my complaints, here I am still making some in the middle of the night este dawn time. But anyway, I will be taking off very soon as I am about to fell sleep here while reading and typing. Okies guys goodnight for now and see yah all tomorrow. Another day for survival lol....

It's Hot Like Crazy

This morning, my husband and I went out to do some errands. We went to the bank, Sam’s, Discount Tire to get estimate for the car and some couple of places. I don’t mind going out as it’s really important stuff that we were doing but my gosh the sun is killing me. It was so hot I can’t describe how bad it is. It is not so bad if you just stay on the car but if you go somewhere like Sam’s shop around for 30minutes or so and when you get back to the car in the parking lot, it’s hot like crazy.

The Water Looks Great...

Trashcan Everywhere on the Street

The weather yesterday was so hot but at the same time it was so windy outside that I can even hear the wind blowing while I was on the bar tapping on my laptop. After few minutes, my hands gets so tired from typing so I stood up from my chair, roam around the house and started to look outside from the window. Oh gosh I was shocked when I saw our trash can in the middle of the street. I went outside to get it and found so many trashes can on the street from almost all household in the neighborhood. But of course I just grabbed ours lol!

Moving Soon

Moving from place to another with so many things to bring is what I really hate. But its better to leave this house soon as there are so many issues and many people involved in this house. If I only have choice and if I only have my own money, I would buy my own house, a brand new house where there are no other memories in there but my husband and me. I labeled this house as “Bwisit” nga balay kay naay nakapuyo diri sa una “buang ug uwagan”. But good thing is, I cleaned this house so I don’t think there are any viruses left here hahahhah yikes.

A Sweet Little Boy

Last Thursday, I had some visitors in the house. Actually they are not really visitors, they are the one who are selling this house for my husband, in short "Realtor". They came here together with the buyer and inspector who checked everything in the house from the foundation, plumbing, water heater, dishwasher, oven, heating and cooling system, windows, roof and some other important stuff that a buyer would like to know about.

But anyway, as the inspector was doing what he is supposed to be done, I was talking with the cute little boy, the son of the Realtor while the buyer had chitchat with the Realtors. After everything were done, as they are all about to leave, they stop in the front door and continuesly talking about house etc. I closed the main door and after few minutes, I hear a knocked on the door and it was the "Little Boy". He told me he just knocked to kiss me goodbye... humm so sweet huh! How can a little boy think of such???

A Funny Story...

My husband and I are both busy typing and making updates on our blogs but suddenly, few hours later, I heard him laugh so loud so I stood up from my own chair and went to his computer.
