Memories That's Makes Me Laugh

This picture was taken on my beloved Grandma's house after our first church together. I have a funny stories about our first time in church together. My aunt is a member in the church so she always sit in front. Since we are with her, we decided to sit down beside here. During the mass, the priest talk about Sin. And his example was about the people who goes to internet and watch porno videos and stuff or those women who goes to internet, show their body just to earn money. He demonstrate it while saying those so everyone in the church was laughing. Tony and I was laughing too because it was really funny. When we arrived home, my aunt told me something about it. She said that everyone in the church was looking us during the priest homily. I said oh really? i didnt know that because i was laughing myself too that time and wasn't able to look at anyone but to the priest. Hahahahah ... When i translated  to Tony what my aunt said... we just laugh together... hay ang pari di pa dungog dungog diay me. Sorry for him for we are not like that. hehehehe

I found out that Memphis, New Orleans, Miami and San Diego are in top Laziest Cities in America. I saw this in the news and also read it in Yahoo News". The culture here is so much different from where I grew up. I am not surprise nor wonder why there's a lot of over weight people in the USA. As I've observed, American People are use to convenient, abundance on so many things and food and the jobs are quite easy. Unlike when you go to other countries like Philippines and other part of the world, people work so hard to earn and eat 3 times a day. The waste American people does at home and restaurant can already feed millions of Filipino people.

Falling Apart

It's about time to say good night to all. I am very tired and falling apart at this moment. My back and my fingers hurts from typing and sitting here too much in front of my lappy not to mention I was really tired and feel yucky while we were on the way home. I used to hate land trip when I was a kid because it's gives me fever and used to vomit at the same time. But I get used to it when my sister and I moved to Manila and lived with our parents. But now that I don't usually travel that far and not go out that often, I started to feel yucky when hubby and I go somewhere that took hours upon hours of driving. It makes me really sick grrr... Ok it's time to go and rest now. Babosh every one and have a good night to all...

Weekend Escapade

My weekend was pretty busy. It seems like I am working but I am not. I don't have any job yet at the moment other than my blogging career. But despite of being jobless, weekend was too busy... Hubby have too many things to do and of course kasama ako doon. I love to go out, work and spend my day outside the house but sometimes it's just tiring. And I also feel bad I am not earning for few days but it's ok though... this is what life kumbaga... There are still so many things I need to learn here in strange land. I need to learn to drive as soon as possible to I can start working outside. I also need to learn to cope up dealing with other people as I really want to be able to work one day. And if God allows it, I also want to earn college degree one day. I won't mind to start with associate courses but hopefully, one day, one way or another, no matter how old I would be... I would keep on trying to get and finish college.

Team National Meeting

Life is getting harder especially with what the economy is doing right now. That's why getting a chance to earn extra is something you should not ignore. That's what we exactly did a while ago. My husband's former boss in techteam contacted him I think last month and talk to him about getting involve into Team National. They sit down and talked more about it when his former boss visited over not so long ago. And then yesterday, he called again and left some message for hubby about a meeting that will be held in their house. And that's where we came from just few minutes ago. The meeting went pretty well and I think hubby is quite interesting about it. He's been hoping to get some extra income because he really needs it. And as a wife, I am just here to support what ever he decides to do... so if go for it then that would be it...

English Foxhound Dog

I got interested of the name English Foxhound dog when I was reading something. I decided to search what it looks like and luckily found it's description. It says that English Foxhound Dog have a good voice, a keen nose, a rugged constitution and an ability to get along with other all hallmarks of the English Foxhound. These dogs are bold, active, passionate hunters. They are responsive and obedient to their masters but their training takes patience. They are good with children and friendly with people but prefer to be in the company of other dogs. Grooming needs are minimal. Comb or brush regularly, but bath only when necessary. Today my husband's mom visited us and treats us for lunch. We actually chatted for a while before we went to our favorite Asian restaurant that is just few blocks from the house. She brought me something that I really appreciate a lot. Few days before my birthday, she called and asks me if I want to go out with her on my birthday, roam around or go anywhere I like but it's also the same day that my Laptop would arrived so we moved it to Thursday that is today. It's also great because hubby is off today which means he was able to see and talk to her mom like me. I want to thank Mama Nelda for the cute gift, card and cash she gave me. She's really very thoughtful and kind. Wish I could do something for her one day in the future.

Blogging Gets Tougher

Have you guys noticed that opportunities online are getting tougher? I am not sure if you do feel the same way, or somehow, it’s just me who felt it. Baby's Breath

We haven't mowed the backyard for since winter that's why the grass grows so long "almost on my waist" waaaa. Well it's just that hubby's schedule is changed. He goes home almost 8pm sometimes that's why there's no way for him to mow the backyard. And not only that, it's been 4 Sat and Sunday in a row that we were out of town.

Anyway, along with the grass that grows in the backyard, I also saw this baby's breath that I posted here. I wanted to save it by moving it to the side of the house but I wasn't feel doing anything when Hubby mowed the yard last week. It was a bit cold and I just woke up when he did it. What A Great Day Today

This is the first morning this week that I haven't felt lazy to wake up. There's only one reason behind it though. It's not cold today! Yeheeey! I am so happy because I woke up at seven o'clock in the morning. Well it's already early for me because we always sleep late and wake up late since the time hubby changed work schedules. I am really happy because the earlier I could wake up in the morning, the better for me. Not that I need to eat or exercise but it's good for my blogging career kumbaga hahhaah. Akala nyo ano...

Meanwhile, while waiting for opportunities to come today, I better go to the kitchen first, feed myself and do a little bit clean up. That way, I don't need to rush myself later when it's about time for opps. I will just keep on crossing my fingers that while I am away from computer, there will be no opps to come or else I would be regretting the time of leaving my computer.

Few weeks ago, hubby and I together with his mom and kids went to Anna because we were invited by his brother to come over to his grandson's school for some carnival in Sherman. The carnival is intended to earn money for the school. It was fun, there was so many booth that kids can play with. And one of the game is this Pie Throw. You need to give two ticket to play pie throw. The ticket will cost you 25 cents a piece. I am sure the school really earn a lot because there were so many kids who enjoyed playing all the games.

It's Cold - 66 Degree!

Good morning everyone! How you all doing? As of me here I don't feel like getting off from bed because it's 66 degree in our bedroom when I woke up. Brrrgg it's cold... Waaaa my poor fingers and feet are cold but I don't want to change the aircon because I know it will be hot later on. Once you keep changing heating and cooling system of your house, your electricity bill will goes up, something I don't want to happened. I can bear the cold for a while by drinking hot chocolate. Actually if it's not only for my work online, I might still in the bed at the moment. But I need to earn money so better push my butt off the bed and get up lol. Happy blogging to all of you!

My husband dream job.

Can you believed my husband want to live in Philippines and want to become a tricycle driver? waaaahahaaa makabuang... He had so much fun riding on the tricycle during his first visit in the Philippines. He even tried to ride on a "trisikad" and i felt sorry to the driver who's so skinny compare to a 6 footer passenger plus me. Poor driver... but my husband was having fun... lots of fun so i handed him 20 pesos. In my surprise my husband also handed him a $1 tip. Hehehehe kakatuwa...

Helping or Making Mess?

Every other weekend, my husband and I goes to his childhood town where my mother in law still living. We went out doing some things together and goes to the Church on Sunday. Mama Nelda have some special task to do every Sunday on her church. She's the in charge for the kids snacks. She prepares juices, crackers and some candies for the kids. Humm we never had like this in the Philippines. Maybe all kids would go to the church too if we have things like this in the Philippines. Anyway I posted a picture here where hubby took some when I was helping too. I hope I really helped and not making any mess at all lol... well I think I did it pretty good...

By the way the church that I am talking about is the Baptist Church, the church where my husband used to go since he was a kid. Most parents who goes to the Church to attend a Sunday worship service and just leave their kids on a place in Church where they do Sunday school. Kids can do some activities like bible reading, play, making any projects and that kind of stuff.

Oh my gosh! That's what came out to my mouth when I first saw this video of 8 teens beating one their schoolmate. If you are going to think of what they did, you can say it was truly a stupidity to do such thing. How can a normal person with normal thinking could ever do a video of such violent actions and post on myspace? Aren't they aware that it could bring them to prison? Humm what an idiot. I am sorry for the word but it just doesn't make any sense at all. Oh well if ever they are going to be in prison for life like what I heard from other videos in youtube, then that's must be it... they deserve it...

First Time Customer

Starting a little store online with minimal budget is quite hard. But with great effort and determination, it will turn out good eventually. Just like my hubby, I am happy and proud for him as he already got his first customer few days ago from his online store. He doesn't have that much product on his store yet, as he is still planning and thinking of what and where to get stuff. As for now, he only have some few Christian and home stuff from his bro. Hopefully he will be able to get more sales as he really needs it.

The Storm Early In The Morning

Good morning folks how you all doing? As of me here I am still sleepy but I need to wake up and get my butt off from bed. I am exhauster for we woke up about 3 o'clock early morning because of the horrible lightning and sounds causes by the storm. I am sure everyone woke up too because it was loud enough to wake you up and you can really hear it from outside no matter what place you sleep in your house lol. Everyone who earns as a blogger would agree on my tittle. Just few minutes ago, I was mad I forgot to refresh my dashboard as I was carried away editing a layout of my other blog. As I've realized of the time, I refresh right away and saw most opps are already gray which makes me mad of myself. I keep on trying until I got 5 bucks which I told myself it's better than nothing at all. Few minutes later, as I was doing the said adds I refresh my dashboard once again and waaaaaaaaaaaaaa 107 bucks is already gray... what the heck.... grrrr so pissed off until now... see why blogging caused mood swing? Am I Enjoying Mowing Our Yard?

Most houses here in the US have big front yard and backyard where they grow bermuda grass or the johnson grass. That's what makes most houses looks very clean and green. But of course it takes a lot of time, effort and money to maintain it. First, you need to mow it every once in a while then fertilize it, kill weeds and of course water it especially during summer.

Just few days ago, hubby decided to mow at least the front yard first when he got home from work. I understand he can't mow the backyard and front yard together because he arrived from work at 7pm. Glad 7pm here in Texas right now looks 4 or 5 pm in the Philippines as it is not as dark yet. Back to mowing, there he is mowing the yard and me? nagisnamok... I told him if I can mow the yard and then took some pictures of me. hahahahha he really did it... wala syang magawa...

Muscle Weigh More Than Fats Myths

As we got home yesterday, the first thing that I caught my eyes as we were in the kitchen is our weighing scale that put on the way going to the game room. I weigh myself as soon as I saw the scale because we were away from the house since Sat until Sun. I was so shocked when I saw my weight and I can't accept it so I tried it 3 times and then tried it again when my mother in law left the house. As in I tried it with no belt, no jeans that kind of stuff you know, and yet the result where just few .03 deducted from the first three... waaaaaaaaa I can't believe I weigh that much and I can't accept it....

I told hubby about it and he told me that since I start exercising, I should expect to weigh more at first as he said... the muscle weigh more than fats... doesn't make sense huh... I can't stop thinking what he said so I really made a research online and it says.... The 5 lbs. of fat is much bulkier than the 5 lbs. of muscle, but five pounds is still five pounds. Muscle does not weigh more than fat.

Fat is bulky and lumpy so if you carry an extra five pounds of fat, you'll be lumpier than with five pounds more muscle. A five pound pile of fat will take up more space (volume) than a five pound pile of muscle; but five pounds is still five pounds, so for those of you that don't "get" English, you cannot say one thing weighing a certain weight weighs more than another thing at that same weight. It's a common joke to play on an 8-year old. The correct way to state the muscle weighs more than fat scenario is, "Muscle is heavier by volume than fat."

Walking Around The Neighborhood

Last night, just about 15 to 30 minutes after we ate, hubby and I decided to go for a walk around the neighborhood. It was nice out side, just a little bit cold but once you start walking for a while you won't be able to feel the coldness anymore. I am not sure but I think we walked at least 3 to 4 miles which is just enough for hubby's first time. I mean we used to walk around before but we stopped when winter had about to start last year. And then last night was the first one for this year. Hopefully it won't rain tonight so we can go for a walk again.
