Christmas Tree

Good morning to all my friends and visitors. I am sharing our unfinished Christmas tree. There are some ornaments that needed to be hang and I am still trying to make some ribbons so it’s not really done yet. Just got no much time since I sit down here in computer. But will absolutely do it on weekend.

Windy

We dine out right after hubby arrived from work. After we ate, we dropped by to Biglots to check something and then headed to Walmart to buy some groceries. When we were inside Walmart I was complaining it was hot since I was wearing a heavy coat. I was thinking I wish I didnt bring coat since it wasn't that cold outside. But as soon we get out from Walmart after we paid in the cashier, gosh it's so windy that my hat fell off from my head. Goodness... weather here in Texas is just very unpredictable...

Need To Eat

It's time to eat now. I am getting headache every time I am hungry. It's like my head is going to explode.

I cook rice, "Lucky Me" beef noddles and fried spam. So ready to pig out now so see yah later!

A New Day In Our Life

Wow another day added to our life that we need to be thank of. Thanks oh Lord for everything. I am glad because it's sunny right now outside even though the wind are still blowing cold. God is great for he can make all those things.

Got My Green Card

Wow finally got my green card! It's was just yesterday that I saw in the USCIS website that they sent me an approved letter yesterday. I was so happy when I saw it and even happier when I got a mail in afternoon. How fast it was. And today, I got another mail with my green card inside it wow! Wooooooooooooo What a blessed day! Thanks God.

First Christmas Tree in US

This is our unfinished Christmas tree. There are some ornaments that needed to be hang and I am still trying to make some ribbons so it’s not really done yet. But there’s no big hurry though because I still have time before December or should I say before Christmas heheheh.

Christmas Decor

I got so excited shopping for our first Christmas tree to the point I don't mind the prizes of what I picked up as long as I love it. After all we uses PPP money. Wow PPP is really a great help, it will make our Christmas bountiful hehehe.

Anyway, When hubby told me that we need to get the "stuff on the picture, "hummm I forget the term he used" but it is something you put on the foot of the Christmas tree so you won’t be able to see the metal foot. So when he showed me where it was, I choose this color. A red with gold on lace on the bottom. It really looks great for me.

I heard a knocked a while ago that scared me for a while since it’s been a long time I heard someone knocking on our door. Anyway it was the FedEx man that carrying a box. Wow it is a box of two bottled wine from Gold Medal wine clubs. I am so happy to receive this because it is just a right timing for Christmas. I am going to serve on Christmas night for my family and friends, of course with foods.

So Blessed

I am so thankful for all the blessings God showers on me despite of all sad things that happened this month. After sad things, now We received a mail from USCIS that says my Adjustment is approved. Wow I can't believe it after 3 times sending my vaccination, we finally fixed things.

One more good news today is I am on the top 10 earners of the month. I had been gone in the computer for 7 days straight and more days on and off since Papa Barney got sick. I don't regret at all because I love him very much and if I need to be out of PC for one month I would still do it just to see him.

Sleet

Gosh there was a sleet today here in Texas. I was amazed when hubby called me and told me to come outside the house(my parent's in laws house)to look at the Sleet. When I get out, I simply said hummm silly did you forget there's also rain in the Philippines? He said no this is a sleet, a small drops of ice or what they called a frozen rain. Wow for the first time in my I saw the sleet! hehehehhe gitagawan... I tried to catch some even though it was so cold. brrrrrrggggg

Turkey

It is American's tradition to have Turkey every Thanksgiving. As you can see, even the napkins we use in Mama Nelda's house also have Turkey. I enjoyed it there not only because there were tons of foods but also because almost everyone in the family was there.

What A Day

Despite of all the things I have done today, I was able to grab more opps than I thought. I am up and down in the computer since I was cleaning the oven today and did some other stuff. I am glad at least I am earning back after more than a week not sitting down here.

It's Monday again! Which mean most people are busy going to work and most mommies are busy dropping kids to school. Dinner Time

For some reason hubby was craving for pizza tonight but since we don't feel going out, he just ordered pizza online. He asked me what I want and told him I just want my favorite bread stick and that's all. He said ok. But after few minutes he showed me what he ordered online. Can you believe this was all he ordered? Two big box of pizza, one box of bread stick and 1L Mountain Dew. Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh kami ra duha eat ani heheheheh...

Death

Death is the end of the life of a biological organism. Death may refer to the end of life as either an event or condition.

Mostly, in response to our loss, we feel grief which is just normal. People grief when loved one passed away which is sometimes ends up to diminishing your own health.

With all my experiences, I sometimes scared to talk about Death despite of the fact that I know and believe that people who lost someone should rejoice as their love one will be experiencing a peaceful and stressful free life with our God Almighty.

It's Been A Long Day

Good morning everyone! I am finally backed to blogging world today. It's been a while not being able to come online as we were out of town for almost the whole week.

As I get off the car the last night, the first thing I did was checking my email, blogs and other websites. But after few minutes, I stopped and went to bed for I can’t think of anything because I was so tired and exhausted. Imagined we woke up early yesterday and leave Burleson early and arrived to Longview about 11 am which gives us more time before the funeral at 2pm.

And then we left Longview about 5pm and arrived in Burleson 8pm something. We ate some brownies, take our meds and do some chi chat before we went home. Poor hubby been driving so much for the whole week or so.

Sorrow

I just want to leave a message to all my friends and visitors that I won't be here for a couple of days. It's so sad but God gives us Life and eventually take it back in God's time. One of the most Special person in my life passed away few hours ago. We are in sorrow right now yet felt relief he left peaceful and I know he is with God now because He was such a wonderful person.

There are things I haven't told him that much since was kinda ashamed as I am just a new member of the family.

I want you to know Papa Barney that I Love You so much and that I appreciate everything you've done for me. I would never forget when you smile at me and give me chocolates when I first met you and told me (Saturday: "To get anything I needed to get when Mama Nelda and I go shopping in the next two days" which is Monday ). You've made me comfortable since I first met you until the time I had some difficulties here in USA....I would never forget when you get off the car despite your health just to make sure I will get fruits and veges when we went to Greens Farmers Market.... I would never forget the time you told everyone during Fourth of July how much proud you are to me and how much you like.... I would never forget the time you allow Mama Nelda to leave you alone in your house just to get my medical and stuff... I would never forget the time I cook something for you and always appreciated it so much though sometimes I was thinking maybe you just don't want to hurt my feelings, but I also know you are sincere. These are just the few things among so many things you have done for me.

I may have known you for only 9 months but I love you since the first day I've met you. Actually I already like you when you call to Tony and asked if he bought me jacket just few days before I arrived here hehhehe that was just really cute.

Papa I Love You and will never forget you. I hope you will never forget me too...

Web Worm Free

I am so happy this plant of mine recovered from being attacked by web worms last August. I thought my plants is going to die because web worms ate all the leaves in just two days.

But now, my plant is web worm free and more leaves are growing everyday.

Fall Season

Hubby and I where about to go to the hospital when I noticed this big trees in our neighborhood. Before it was so green and now turning to yellow and about to die anytime soon. Well not really dies as hubby said as leaves will comes back on spring.

I was attracted and amazed with how the trees and other plants changes as the weather changes. God is really great!

Plants Changes Color During Fall Season?

Isn't that pretty? This is the first time I saw some leaves of my plants turns to red. I am not sure how long it will stay red though because it was totally green when we first bought it.

I love all my plants that's why I love checking them and taking pictures of them as they changes. I hope all of them will survive during winter because I am not sure what types of plants usually survive as weather changes.

My Plants Is Blooming

It's weird because I thought plants are beginning to die during fall season. So I wonder why my plants outside are blooming with lots of flowers. But I hope though that this flower will stay longer. I hope I am wrong but I heard most flower just survive during summer time until fall and then would eventually die in as soon as winter hits.

Since the time our dear Papa, a very "Special Person" stays in the hospital, everyone in the family are sad. Only God knows what’s going to happen but my prayers and love for him remains forever. I hope and pray God will give him more years because I would love to see and know him more. I can't explain why but when I first saw him, I feel so light it's like He's been a family for a long time. I don’t want him go but everything is in God’s hands.

Lots of Prayers For A Very Special Person

I was out from blogging world yesterday as we went to the hospital to visit one of the very special person of my life here in the US. I love him to death for he is so sweet, most loving and most caring person I have ever met in my whole life. He accepted me and treats me as family the very first time he saw me.

For the whole 9 months, since first day he saw me, he always made me feel special either on the phone or in person. One time we went to Greens to buy some fruits and vegetables, despite of the fact that he is sick, he wanted to go out in the car just to make sure I will get all fruits and veggies that I want. Because he knows I am ashamed to get anything.

This post is very special and would kept this forever. I just wish, hope and pray, with all our prayers and love... God will bless and give him more more years to go...to be with us, sharing more loves and memories...

Texan Sets Record with 87 Snakes in Tub

Can you imagined yourself inside the tub with 87 snakes? Me I can't. I wouldn't die from snakes bite but I will die from heart attack. Honestly I would really freak out even if it is just one snake around me. I don't even know if I have the guts to kill a snake.

Anyway, I got this photo Yahoo News. It really looks disgusting but this Texan man sets a record on Guinness World Records Day spending 45 minutes in the tub with 87 snakes. A Guinness official certified the record.

Baked Banana

Look what happened to my baked banana. It turns so black hahahha. I will tell you story about this. I think I got addicted to Marimar already. Been watching the whole morning in Youtube. I hope anyone of you can tell me any site where I can watch all episodes of Marimar. As for the meantime, I have no other choice but to watch it in Youtube. What I don't like is, I can't find the right order of the episodes... Please hellllppppppp nyo ako!

Woke Up Missing My Family

I misses my family so much especially my beloved grandma. I had a dream last night that made me miss them more. When I went here in my computer and looking for the pictures I wanted to post to my other blogs, I saw this very old picture of my family. It's my mama and papa, my sister Irish, Me and my 3 cousins. Batch 2000

This picture was taken by my friend George after Alumni. This are the batch 2000 of Candelaria Institue in Cabadbaran, Agusan del Norte. Wow I can see the "Litsong Manok" on the table too. Humm craving for that for a long time. "Litsong Manok" in our place just taste so good.

High School Alumni

It was our high school alumni few days ago but I wasn't able to come since I'm already here in US. Well I had never experience yet to go for your yearly alumni since I stayed in Manila after I graduated high school in Cabadbaran.

It's my dear friend George who sent me this pictures she took during Alumi night. Hayy it's been seven years but seems like it was just last April when we graduated. I wish I could attend next year.

Palm Tree

This is my Palm Tree I bought from Wall Mart two to three months ago. Few weeks ago, we've seen some small bugs flying inside the house. Not very many though but hubby hates it. He was so concern it will goes to our food as it is very little that sometimes we might see it. So he told me that I need to get rid of my palm tree. Huuhuhuh I told him maybe we can spray something for the bugs. So we bought a bug bomb and leave the house for 4 hours but guess what, when I get home we can still see some of it. Hubby don't talk about for few weeks but yesterday, hubby finally broke up his silence and told to please get rid of my plants as one bugs goes into his nose. hehehehe Poor plants don't know what to do.

Excited To Eat A Dried Fish From Pinas

I am so excited to eat a dried fish again from the Philippines. Few months ago, my friend Anne gave me a dried from the Philippines. And now Ate Rose just arrived from their 3 weeks vacations in the Philippines and guess what? Anne and I have pasalubong na daing! Wooohoooo! I so happy and excited to have it because the dried fish i usually get from asian market taste different.

Scary Doll

See the number on the left side of this doll? This doll is one among so many contestant for the Halloween costumes contest in a mall in the Philippines. This is taken by my best friend Marvie. How I really wish I was celebrating Halloween in the Pinas for it was fun in there. Gosh I better stop talking about this because it makes me feel homesick huhuhuh. Ok enough for this.

Enjoying The Lake Breeze

We just drop to Arlington's Lake to take pictures and enjoy the fresh cold air. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy feeding ducks with bread. I saw some people busy on their boats and some just sat down on the platform and enjoy fishing. We just stayed for few minutes as we were going to watch some show in SDA Arlington.

Sweet Candy

I called this sweet candy not only because of its taste. It's because Hubby gave it to me. They have a trick or treat thing at work and everyone bring something to eat. He bring some sugar cookies and when he got home, he gave me this candy. Isn't that sweet?
