Filipino Restaurant

Hubby was tired from mowing this morning and just wanted to go out and relax for a while so we decided to eat somewhere then go for a movie "Transformer". But before that we dropped by in Home Depot to do some errands. Then we decided to eat in Logans but hubby's mind changed and wanted to try Filipino Restaurant since the movie will start 7pm. So we went to the restaurant and ordered Pork BBQ, Pinakbet, Fried Chicken Wings, and Mango Juice. Hubby loved the food so much and wanted to come back soon to get more food and pandesal since they were out of pandesal this afternoon as the filipino family that came ahead from got it all already. The Wife said sorry we got it all already and first come first serve. Hhahahah we just laugh. We are both full, my tummy get too big hahahhahahaah... humm... totally lost my diet this past few weeks. Anyways, we paid and walked out with Siopao, Polvoron w/ Pinipig and my left over pinakbit. As we were on the car on the way to the movie, i told hubby to just go home because im so full and don't feel like sitting on theater for one hour hahahaha {well also thinking of ppp? hahahah} just kidding... Glad hubby said ok but lets get movie from Block Buster first and just watch "Transformer" tomorrow or next week. But we didn't get any from Block Buster bec. he can't find the movies he like. We went home straight from Block Buster and open PC right away. But unfortunately there's no opps from PPP. May im late already or maybe too early... who knows... well maybe just go watch America's Next Top Model for i recorded bunch of it. Okies See later guys...

The Face Behind This Blog!

Finally i got time to edit this for it's been few days i felt busy and not in the mood to blog about myselt. But before anything else, i want to thank Anne and Irel for passing this tag.





I'm Annie Lou Sabacajan Lobo Briley... haba di bah? My friends in the province called me Lot or Lot-Lot but most of my friends in Manila called me Anne some called me Annie and some called me Neng. But my family called me Lalang since i am the youngest. I have one brother named Mark Owen and one sister named Irish Ida. I surely both love them so much. We are all raised by our beloved late grandparents which is a blessings for me for I wouldn't be who I am today without them. No matter how strict they were to us when we were kids, I’m still thankful enough for I know it really made me a better person as well as my siblings.

But even though my parents left us when we were kids, it doesn't mean we are out of Love for them. For there were no days we had ever forgotten them and wished we would be a family again one day. Plus the fact that we all know the reason behind it. And thanks God, he gathered us all together once again as a family despite of the absence of my brother physically... for he decided to stay with grandma and went to college. Though it wasn't easy to live with my parents again after a long time of being apart... struggle, pain, wanting of going back of grandma, arguments, etc... name it... we all have had experienced those… especially my sister whom suffered a lot during our childhood for she heard too much things from the jealous people surround us that made her so sensitive ( she always had arguments with my father). But we surpassed all of it, God is just so great, wounds slowly healed. Day by day we learned to know each other, we let go of all the negative feelings and now we are all ok as a family.

Now, my brother is working as a seaman, sister is ok with my parents and Me having a new life as I am “married” and love by my husband. I am just starting with my own Journey of Life, that hopefully through ups and down, our marriage will become stronger forever.

Oh My Gosh!

After watering my plants this morning, i fry some spam and eat with rice. ohhhmmmmm i love it crispy and dip on ketchup. As i washes our dishes i came over here and turn PC on and then back to washing. I have done something else before i finaly sit down here in PC. As i checked my email, i said hummm finaly no Rejected mail from PPP. Then i went to Anne's page to get the tagay for me then answering few questions...got the result and posted it here. From then on, i went to my other friends blog, read for a while etc. Until then, i decided to check my email once again as i can see it on task bar that i have 10 new emails. Surprise! Guess what i got? Wow can't believe it!!! One of my post in PPP got approved! This is the first post ever i got approved. And i never thought i could hear such in PPP soon. Beacuse its been 5days a row i got message from them that my post are "Rejected" waaahaaahaa happy au oist. Thanks PPP! Muuuaahh

Panihapon

Happy and contented gyud ko sa akong panihapon karon. My sister texted me and asked what i cooked for dinner. I told her i baked potato for Tony and sweet potato for me. And i also put hubby's mixed waffles sa waffle maker then he scrambled 2 eggs. Lahi me ug gikaon tonight kasi iya gikaon waffle ug egg then mine was baked sweet potato tuslo ginamos and adobo or ginasang talong na may manok. Wow perti gyud nako kabusog. Nawala na akong diet since nakapalit ko ug ginamos. hahahaha pero di gyud kaon hubby oist.

My tuesday

Hi friends! Finally sitting down here. Did a lot of errands today. I was doing some touches around the kitchen this morning and did some chores too. And when hubby arrived this afternoon, we went outside and mow the backyard for the grass was almost as high as my knee. Hubby also cut some trees that produces many little ones. Backyard was almost half covered by those little trees. Hummm what a day... plus one more thing to add... i checked my mail a while ago and saw a mail from PPP. Waaahhaaaaa isa sa mga post ko rejected so need to edit it... hehheeheh

Goodmorning everyone! It's so nice outside, it's quite and so peaceful but lots of birds plus one thing is... i don't have to water the plants na haahhha. Evan Almighty

Have you see Evan Almighty movie? hummm guys go and watch because its really a nice movie. Hubby and I watched it yesterday . Gosh there's part of the movie that really made me cry. The part where talk to Evan's wife. huhuhuh it really affect me so much. Here's what God say "You can work things out no matter how hard it is, just work with your husband side by side".

Parking Area

Hubby and i just arrived home. We were kinda bored this morning and neither one of us feel painting at all. So we dressed up and went to mall and watch movie in Rave. Gosh it took us so much time to just park because its so busy, traffic and no as in we can't see any available space in the parking area. So hubby keep on driving hoping we can find one. We almost try to park in handicap are but ofcourse we did not. Hubby was already thinking of backing out and just eat somewhere. So he made a one last turn a and bingo finally one car drove out... wooohooo tuloy and movie heheheh

Woke up so early

Today is saturday and i woke 7:30am which is not normal for me because I used to woke 9am every saturday and sunday as it is hubby's day off. But it's my first saturday today after i got approved by PPP and last night they said i already reached the limit of taking opportunities... So that's the reason why i woke early so i can grab more opps... so seee yah later guys need to grab more!

Misses Philippines

I've been here in the Texas for 5 months now and still missing my family and friends. And my hubby knows it. Painting is just very tiring

I got a text from my aunt that said their cousin "Auntie Tetet" thats based in germany died. She's my favorite cousin of my Mama. So i know my mama will be sad to hear this news. And Since i can't go there, i'll just post my Condolence here in my blog to Busa Family! Auntie Tetet, may you rest in peace! Thanks for Lovin my Mama Lorna and thanks for being so nice to her.

Tired!

Pain and Love

I was getting the meals ready for our dinner last night while "Tilapia" still frying on skillet when my husband arrived from work. He gave me hug and kisses and said " Meals ready?"... i said yah aside from "Tilapia"... so i checked it and flip it over and since it was a big fish... as i flipped it over hot oil splashed on my right hand, some on my forehead, some on my face and legs. I screamed and Hubby got panicked when he saw me. I washed my face with cold water and Tony even on panicked mood was able to get me lots of ice and drop on the sink to soak my hand, put some on my face and forehead. He also checked our medicine cabinet, grabbed a cream and applied on my burns. He wasn't contented with it so he went to CVS to grabbed more. He arrived so fast and applied another cream he got from CVS... After that i remained sitting on the couch and watched tv as Tony laid down and put his face on my lap... I thought he was also watching tv but gosh he was not... he was in tears... So i told him that im ok and that im feeling better so nothing to worry about. He said he was so scared and worried of me ( sweet talaga ng asawa ko...kahit masakit mapaso masarap ang feeling pag inaalagaan ka ng asawa mo). He didn't even let me do anything, he brought our dinner in the couch and wash dishes... Oh sarap di bah?...

Water Heater

It's monday again and now waiting for Lowes call. They should call me soon to let me know what time they are going to install our new water heater. Can't believe we paid for installation almost the same as we paid for the water heater itself. My husband told me "Welcome to America" hehehe. Thats what he always mutter to me everytime im grapping about prices here heheheh Grabe talaga. If i only know how to instal it, ako nalang sana... heheh... Binibiro ko lagi asawa ko pagdating sa mga ganyan like when he said "he wanted to stay in motel just to have a hot bath"... so sabi ko " im going to boil water for you then akin nalang ibabayad mo sa motel" hahaha tawa naman asawa ko sabay sabing sure... hehehe... Gosh need to do some cleaning now while waiting for their call hope and they hope they will install it before my friends arrive to get me. See yah later.....

Independence Day!

Tony and I just arrived from his parent's house. We were invited to come over and met the rest of his family on her mother side. They were all so nice and sweet to me which flatters me a lot. We ate and had lots of talking and laughing together especialy when they begin to asked me about my language and how to say some english words to my language like hello, goodbyes etc. It was really fun meeting Tony's families and his Aunt told me "We are not complete yet" waaaaaahaaaaaaa it means there are more i should meet one of these days heheehhe.

First Step In Texas

One of my memorable day was Feb. 8, 2007. The day i arrived here in texas and finally after a year being away from each other, Tony and I embraced and kissed each other again. Sweeet moment di ba. Hehehe... Anyways i have a funny stories to share that happened in my whole trip. I arrived in Los Angeles, which was my "Port of Entry"  arround 6 pm on Feb. 7. I had 6 hours waiting period before my next flight so i cdecided to call Tony on the payphone. I inserted my paypal card but i can't figure out how would it work. Grabe nakarating lang ng USA di na marunong gumamit ng payphone hahahah. I was soo ashamed but i had no choice but to asked help to some people arround. Abah kalain mo di rin nila magawa... hummm di lang pala ako... hahahah... after so many tries... i just thank them and just decided to buy something in the store and asked the cashier to gave me some coins change and so he did. I went for a walk, roaming arround and look for anther payphone area. Luckily i found one and tried my coins and dialed Tony's number. Finaly i got hold on him and talked about what happened and he laugh at the same time got worried bec. i still have 5hours waiting time before my next flight. But at the same time excited and happy to see his Annie after a year
